DR. JAPJOT GILL
Family Dentist
Dr. Japjot Gill is a dedicated dentist and proud owner of the growing practice, Auburn Bay Dental. Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Gill graduated from the University of British Columbia’s dental school before relocating to Calgary in 2015 to pursue his career. Known for his friendly and professional approach, he is passionate about providing top-notch care to his patients. Dr. Gill has a keen interest and love for dental surgery including extractions and implants. Outside the office, Dr. Gill enjoys hitting the golf course, exploring the outdoors, staying fit at the gym, and shooting hoops on the basketball court. His commitment to both his craft and his community makes him a valued member of Auburn Bay Dental.
DR. JILL HOWLETT
Associate Dentist
Dr. Jill Howlett is a caring dentist who is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve their best smiles. She combines her expertise with a friendly, personalized approach to make every visit comfortable. Dr. Howlett graduated from the University of Saskatchewan and practiced in Saskatoon before joining the Auburn Bay team in 2022. Dr. Howlett has a special passion for working with kids, ensuring their dental experiences are positive and stress-free. She also offers nitrous sedation for anxious patients and neuromodulators such as BOTOX® and Dysport® . When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Howlett enjoys staying active, trying out new restaurants and spending quality time with her young family.
TARAN
Team Lead / Dental Admin
Taran began her dental career in 2009 after earning her Dental Assistant certification and relocating to Calgary. She has been with Auburn Bay Dental since its opening day, and has been a devoted team member since. Known for her warm demeanor and commitment to patient care, Taran strives to build meaningful connections with every patient, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their dental experience.
Taran is passionate about continuous learning and professional growth. Her attention to detail and ability to work seamlessly within a team have made her an integral part of Auburn Bay Dental’s success.
Outside of the office, Taran leads an active and fulfilling life. She is typically at hockey with her kids or can be found perfecting her barista skills, escaping into nature and travelling. Whether she’s relaxing by the water or spending time with family and friends, Taran lives for moments that bring her closer to her loved ones and the great outdoors.
ASHLEY
Dental Admin
Ashley joined the Auburn Bay Dental team in April 2022, bringing her expertise from a background in medical administration to her new role in dental care.
Ashley is dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment for every patient, ensuring they feel like part of our work family. She loves the opportunity to connect with patients, watch their families grow over the years, and support their dental health and wellness. Understanding that dental visits can be anxiety-inducing for some, Ashley finds fulfillment in making a positive difference in someone’s day.
Outside of work, Ashley loves spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking with her friends, family, and her two sons. She also enjoys watching movies, a good book and creative hobbies like decorating and photography.
JOLANDA
Dental Hygienist
Jolanda is one of our dental hygienists at Auburn Bay Dental. From a young age, she has been passionate about helping others. Her career began as a dental assistant, where she developed a deeper interest in oral health. This passion led her to pursue further education, where she graduated from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene. Jolanda joined Auburn Bay Dental in 2018 and has since made Auburn Bay Dental her home.
Outside of work, Jolanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, traveling, and watching a good TV show or movie. She also recently became a mother, which has been a wonderful new chapter in her life. Jolanda looks forward to helping patients achieve a healthy, confident smile and is excited to be part of their dental journey.
EVETT
Dental Hygienist
Evett has been practicing as a dental hygienist since 2019, after graduating from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries Inc in 2018. Evett is fortunate to say that she genuinely loves her job, especially the opportunity to connect with patients and build relationships that go beyond just “getting your teeth cleaned.” It brings her great joy and pride to educate her patients and boost their self-esteem by helping them achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.
When not helping others maintain their smiles, Evett enjoys seeking out the next mountain to conquer or embarking on new adventures to satisfy her adrenaline-seeking nature. Quality time is her love language, and she cherishes creating unforgettable memories with family and friends. Evett is a true advocate for balance in life, blending a successful professional career with a passion for exploring, trying new foods, and connecting with loved ones.
BIANCA
Dental Hygienist
Bianca is a dental hygienist known for her patient, warm, and understanding approach to patient care, with a commitment to promoting oral health and helping others feel at ease during their appointments.
Outside of the clinic, Bianca is passionate about self-care, fitness, and exploring new places. She believes in the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle and enjoys traveling to experience different cultures and cuisines.
Whether she’s providing care to her patients or enjoying a new adventure, Bianca’s enthusiasm for life and commitment to both personal and professional growth are at the heart of everything she does.
EMMA
Dental Assistant
Emma has been a dedicated dental assistant at Auburn Bay Dental since 2017, offering exceptional care and creating a welcoming environment for patients. Known for a detail-oriented and compassionate approach, Emma ensures every patient feels comfortable and well-cared for. A true bookworm, Emma enjoys diving into a good novel and gaining fresh perspectives. In addition, Emma enjoys baking, cooking, travelling and the outdoors. With a blend of professional dedication and personal passions, Emma is a valued member of the Auburn Bay Dental team.
tanisha
Dental Assistant
Originally from Medicine Hat, Tanisha relocated to Calgary in 2023 to pursue a career in dental assisting. After completing the Dental Assistant program, she was thrilled to join the team at Auburn Bay Dental, where she has quickly become a valued member of the practice. Tanisha is very grateful for the oppurtunity to work alongside such a supportive and skilled team, and she is committed to providing exceptional care to every patient. In her free time, Tanisha enjoys spending quality moments with her friends and family and helping out with her family's business, Dietz Meats.
PRISCILLA
Dental Assistant
Priscilla is a dedicated and upbeat dental assistant at Auburn Bay Dental who always goes the extra mile to ensure patients feel comfortable and at ease. Priscilla has known the dental team since 2017 however joined the Auburn Bay family in 2021. Priscilla has a natural ability to connect with people, making her a favorite among both patients and coworkers. Whether it's helping with procedures, offering tips for better dental care or lending a kind word, her positive energy is contagious.
When she’s not in the office Priscilla enjoys spending quality time with her kids and their playful dog, Winston. The family loves to travel and go to new places, spend time with extended family and friends and enjoy cozy nights at home watching movies. Despite her busy schedule Priscilla always finds ways to keep the mood light, often cracking jokes and spreading laughter wherever she goes. She believes that laughter is the best medicine, and that mentality helps create a fun, welcoming environment at Auburn Bay Dental. Her compassionate nature and lighthearted sense of humour makes her an essential part of the team, and her patients leave not only with a healthier smile but also with a smile on their face!
